Abstract:

The paper presents experimental evidence in favor of biologically significant effects of low-intensity microwaves. Here we offer the original approach to irradiation of blood for therapeutic purposes using a cylindrical cavity resonator operating at f = 41.6 GHz. The technique and the device are described. Our study showed the improving outcomes in patients with chronic neurological disorders who received the course of microwave autohemotherapy. These effects manifested at both the cellular and the organism levels. We assume that the observable effects of microwaves are associated with induced modifications in cellular membranes having impact on the receptor sensitivity, which, in turn, can lead to improvement in intravascular oxygenation and boost the immune response.
