Abstract:

Single phase loads in power distribution network cause unbalancing and null current in the system. Recently using self supported cable instead of copper conductor overhead lines are very common in LV networks of Arak city. In this type of cables because of twisted, load phase determination and load balancing is very difficult. This paper investigates load balancing methods in distribution networks and then presents a new approach to load balance in the self supported cable lines to minimize loss and nu 11 current. This paper used maximum power of each customer instead of average power. Since contribution of different load in peak are differences, tariff of any customer are into account. This approach is used in a real network and result of them compared with CYMDIST that reported in this paper.
