Abstract:

Now-a-days broadband wireless access system supports potential success in radio network planning. In this paper we have considered GSM and WIMAX cellular network with different operating frequencies in wireless broadband services. The critical task lies on providing large scale dimensioning in broad band wireless system is a vital factor. so, an effective Path loss performance is a pivotal step requirement for deployment of wireless and cellular network planning in SIMO(Single-Input and Multiple-Output)model. In this work we are compared and analyze the various different propagation path loss models for our study. We computed the results by taking different receiver antennas heights(4m and 10m)in urban, suburban, rural (flat)areas. For measuring we have considered GSM(940 MHz) and WIMAX(3.5 GHz)in urban, suburban(NLOS) condition for rural(LOS)condition and used MAT Lab simulator for generating results.
