Abstract:

A fully integrated GPS front-end module that including a pair of SAW filters and a LNA MMIC was developed for GPS band in a single package. At 2.85V supply voltage and 3.8mA current, the total gain is 14.2dB with the noise figure 1.85dB. For linearity requirement, the IP1dB is -1dBm and IIP3 is better than 12dBm. The VSD pin turns the LNA on/off. The out-of-band rejection is 87.7dBc at 827.5MHz and 69.1dBc at 1885MHz. The Module fabricated in a single package occupying area of 4mm×2mm×1.3mm.
