Abstract:
Teachers usually evaluate the product of student group work, forgetting the performance of group members during the process to carry out the product. This may cause multiple undesired behaviors in student group work. In this paper, we describe a teaching innovation that has been applied in the Graphical User Interfaces subject. Specifically, this innovation consists in applying self-assessment and peer assessment for assessing the practical works that students carry out in groups. We also provide the initial results that we obtained by applying this teaching innovation.
