Abstract:
The provision of eGovernment services by Public Administrations is currently evolving from services based on static information to more mature stages with support for transactional operations in the Web. Nevertheless, there is still a step to be faced in that evolution: the use of semantic support in the context of social networks for the provision of advanced services. By taking advantage of semantic technologies, it is possible to derive added-value services and applications such as advanced searching services, integration on the citizen profiles, and automatic service requests for actual and potential needs. This paper presents how to fulfill this step in an open and interoperable manner that can be reused in further projects in the domain.
