Abstract:
We present results from applying the range super-resolution algorithm on a set of interferometric satellite SAR images. We have used several repeat-pass ERS SAR pairs that are acquired over man-made objects to verify the resolution enhancement as the spatial satellite baseline increases. We show that the measured enhanced resolution follows closely the theoretical curve for a well defined coherent target. In the future, it will be interesting to test the algorithm on high-resolution satellite SAR data using repeat-pass acquisitions from the TerraSAR-X, Cosmo/Skymed and Radarsat-2 missions.
