Abstract:
The IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters (MWCL) Manuscript Central submission process went live on 7 January 2010; since then it has been one year. To date, the number of papers reviewed with proper identification numbers totals 1315, which include 1137 papers without revisions, either in the form of first submission or resubmission. When a paper is accepted, it is added by an extension R1, R2, etc., to reflect its acceptance state under revision. The total number of papers under review for year 2010 still accumulates, since the resubmitted and revised papers continue to flow into the MWCL Manuscript Central. By the time all submitted papers in year 2010 are cleared, the total number of papers processed by the MWCL editorial team will be approximately 1500. Please refer to the pie-chart and table for monthly breakdowns. Therefore, it is comfortable to estimate that the MWCL editorial team needs to manage approximately 120 papers monthly on average for a prompt review. The smooth and streamline peers-review process at the MWCL Manuscript Central is a shared, successful experience contributed by 937 experts in the reviewer database. I am most grateful to all IEEE MWCL reviewers, making this journal prominent.
