Abstract:
In this paper, a software defined radio for realtime DAB COFDM demodulation with an ARM processor is presented. It has several benefits such as: only one analogue mixer required, a fixed RF DAB broadband bandwidth bandpass filter, direct IF (70MHz) sampling, a digitally controllable local oscillator, a digitally controllable AGC, and a low power consumption ARM processor. The design theory is explained and a real system is developed. Good measurement results are obtained as a proof of the successful implementation of the design.
