Abstract:

Constructing service cooperation-based VOs (Virtual Organizations) has become one of mainstream approaches for developing application software systems in Internet computing environments. This paper proposes the mechanism ACMFS to achieve the service cooperation-oriented self-maintenance of VOs which are created dynamically and on requirement. By developing technologies of abnormal circumstance-driven VO maintenance, 3-phase control cycle for transacting abnormal circumstances, and flexible scheduling of local business processes, ACMFS can maintain effectively the capability for a VO to achieve its assigned objectives in two stages: self-adaptation and self-evolution.
