Abstract:

This paper deals with the velocity control of motor drives when saturated inputs are considered. Two classes of velocity controllers guaranteeing exponential stability are introduced. The first controller allows nonlinear proportional an integral action, while the other one includes an antiwindup loop. A detailed experimental study is provided, which confirms the theoretical results.
