Abstract:
Permanent magnetic gear (PMG) is a new kind of non-contact power transmission device which has unique advantages to be applied in the situations of airproof and small vibration requirements. A new kind of large torque permanent magnetic gear box with flexible transmission ratio is introduced in this paper. Research on principle analysis and transmission characteristics were carried out on the basis of calculating in finite element software Ansoft, and test results of a prototype prove that the design is reasonable and good practical in engineering applications.
