Abstract:

The sensorless control of PMSM are mostly based on high frequency voltage signal injection method or state-observer. A novel rotor position self-sensing method was put forward in this paper by combing the fluctuating high frequency voltage signal injection (FHFVS) method and model reference adaptive system (MRAS) method, which was used in maximum ratio of torque to current control system. The speed-switcher was designed to realize smooth switching between the two methods. This method solved the problem which the single method couldn't give satisfactory balance between steady and dynamic states. The simulation results illustrate the proposed method would reliably realize the sensorless control of PMSM in a wide speed range, including zero-speed.
