Abstract:

Magnetic resonance imaging is a powerful imaging modality. It is capable of imaging the structure, metabolism, and function of a biological object. While an incredible array of methods and applications have been developed in the last two decades, the technology is still far from maturation. Technological developments will continue to improve the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of the imaging method. These technical improvements will further enhance the practical utility of the method for many important applications ranging from 3D cardiac imaging to functional brain mapping.
