Abstract:
We designed a novel multi-load Parity-Time (PT) symmetry wireless power transmission (WPT) system inspired by non-Hermitian physics. This system can selectively and robustly transfer energy across multiple loads. Firstly, a new coil structure was designed to enable the system to operate in six modes and the system in different modes all belong to the PT system. Secondly, a variable operating frequency and monitoring device were designed based on the frequency characteristics of the PT-WPT system. The system can selectively operate in any mode based on the operating frequency of the transmitting device. Furthermore, the coupled receiving coils of the system are different in different operating modes. Finally, the selection of the receiving coil and load can be achieved by simply changing the operating frequency of the transmitting device. The experimental results indicate that the system exhibits insensitivity to internal interference and can concentrate the transmitted energy on one load by changing the operating mode, achieving robust directional energy transfer. There is almost no influence between the internal coils and the system can maintain stable energy transmission when any coil in the system is misaligned horizontally, vertically, or at an angle.
