Abstract:

This research presents a unique fuzzy logic controller approach to maximize energy extraction from solar PV devices under varying irradiation. The DC/DC converter in the PV system is connected to a DC load. The output DC voltage and power are the characteristics used to analyse the MPPT controller's performance. The device's dynamic responsiveness and steady state voltage under varying solar irradiation are taken into account while defending the controllers' overall efficiency. MATLAB/SIMULINK software is used to design and setup the device, and the results are verified. The results are compared with Perturb and observe technique.
