The 3D Visualization of Digitalized Pathological Serial Sections on a Native Resolution

Today, the display of digitized medical images is a priority area of research. The display of digital image information from different medical imaging modalities at the appropriate resolution is key to enable physicians to make the correct diagnosis. In our research, we have designed and developed a solution that can display high-resolution digitized pathological samples at their original resolution for the user. The solution presented in this paper allows users to examine even the nuclei of medical samples. In this paper, we present the current research results in the field, describe the architecture and operation of our solution, and present the testing results of our solution.
