Abstract:
The Automotive Industry is at a pivotal moment, transitioning from traditional vehicles to fully autonomous systems. To ensure the safety of autonomous vehicles, standards such as those from the ISO (International Organization for Standardization), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), and SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) are enforced. However, to be effectively implemented, these standards must adapt to the evolving landscape of Level 4 (L4) autonomous systems. This adaptation requires the use of various Technical Risk Analyses and Technical Risk Assessments methods. The purpose of this paper is to identify the most used methods and provide a systematic overview, aiming to create a comprehensive understanding of the domain. We consider this systematic overview essential in such a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
