Abstract:

Innovations have always offered leading economies the opportunity to break new barriers, boost their economies, and advance into new economic frontiers. In developing regions where agriculture dominates their economic structure, innovations in agricultural technologies are becoming a beacon of hope to drive success in value chains. In this paper, we use an exploratory qualitative research approach to investigate the innovation processes of startups exploiting the opportunities in the Agric value chain using different technologies available in Ghana. The study sheds light on their innovation processes and the factors influencing the innovation process.
