Abstract:

The requirement elicitation process is an essential part of requirements engineering because the process aims to discover or determine what the software should do through a solid understanding of what the stakeholders want and need. Failure in the elicitation process is partly due to the difficulty of communication between humans. Children with ADHD and normal children have significant differences in terms of learning styles. Active experimentation and adaptive learning styles are preferred in children with ADHD. They have difficulty maintaining focus in conversation and may exhibit a self-centered communication style. This research will use User-Centered Design to build a requirement elicitation tool model for ADHD children's learning application. As mentioned earlier, children with ADHD have unique learning styles that are different from other children. Therefore, it is important to create a tool to help select the proper requirements for ADHD children's learning application. The pro- posed model showed strong evaluation results, with a Perceived Ease of Use at 87.22%, Perceived Usefulness at 85.31%, and an IT Acceptance rate of 83.80%. These results indicate that the developed model effectively addresses the issues of requirement elicitation for ADHD children's learning applications, offering a solid answer for improving the development of ADHD Children's Learning Application.
