Current Developments in Health Protection Standards for Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields

In response to the considerable amount of new information on the interaction of non ionizing electromagnetic fields with living systems, the health authorities of an increasing number of countries and also an international organization became involved in the development of recommendations to limit the exposure of the workers and the general public. In this paper, some recently established representative standards, with the emphasis on new developments, will be briefly reviewed.
