Abstract:
This article is based on the requirements and testing methods for vehicle driver drowsiness and attention warning (DDAW) systems in Regulation (EU) 2021/1341. Firstly, the hazards of fatigue driving and its potential hazardous consequences were introduced, and the importance of preventing fatigue driving is analyzed. Secondly, by introducing testing equipment, KSS drowsiness level, driver training methods, road test pass requirements, and human-machine interaction warning requirements, the overall testing process and detailed requirements are analyzed, and laying a foundation for subsequent research and certification testing of DDAW systems.
