Abstract:

This study introduces the Infinite Museum (InMu) system, which enables the exploration of infinite virtual space on a specific physical path under VR room-scale mode. A handle was used as a haptic cue in experiment, demonstrating its potential for direction guiding, enhancing the sense of safety, and increasing user's focus on virtual content.
