Abstract:

The pursuit of energy-efficient and sustainable buildings is increasingly reliant on innovations in IoT technologies, cloud computing, and advanced machine learning. In this paper, we present a comprehensive hardware and software architecture designed to collect sensor data and store it in the cloud, setting the stage for enhanced data-driven applications in smart buildings. The paper covers technical choices and implementation specifics, emphasizing the integration of diverse data sources into a unified cloud-based framework. The ultimate objective is to achieve real-time monitoring, create predictive models for energy consumption, and implement automated building control. These efforts lay the groundwork for advanced data-driven decision-making strategies to conceive sustainable and energy efficient smart workspaces.
