Abstract:

Low-frequency magnetoelectric antenna (LFMEA) based on magneto-electric composite structure is a kind of mechanical antenna (MA) relying on the mechanical motion of equivalent magnetic charge to generate electromagnetic radiation, which has become a hot research topic in the fields of communication, materials, and machinery, etc. It has a very wide application prospect in the fields of resource exploration, submarine communication, underwater communication, navigation, positioning, wireless implantation equipment, etc. It has become a hot research topic in the fields of communication, materials, and machinery. Because it has a wide range of application prospects in the fields of resource exploration, submarine communication, underwater communication, navigation and positioning, and wireless implantation equipment, it has become a research hotspot in the fields of communication, antenna, material, and machinery. The unique mechanical-electromagnetic coupling excitation method makes LFMEA expected to break through the physical size limitation of traditional antennas, solve the problems of existing long-wave antenna systems such as bulky volume and low radiation efficiency, and improve the flexibility and economy of low frequency (LF) wireless communication. This paper analyzes the classification, characteristics, new technologies, and new applications of LFMEA based on a systematic review approach.
