Abstract:

FMEA is a commonly used method in quality analysis. However, traditional FMEA has shortcomings in aspects such as evaluation language, weight allocation, and risk level determination. In order to overcome the shortcomings of FMEA, an optimization method is proposed in this paper. Firstly, Intuitive Fuzzy Numbers (IFNs) are used as the evaluation language, which can not only describe the hesitation of evaluators during the evaluation process but also facilitate calculations. Secondly, the Similarity Measure (SM) is used to calculate the similarity value between the evaluator’s evaluation information and the ideal evaluation information, and the evaluator’s weight is obtained through normalization. Then, the Entropy Weight Method (EWM) is used to calculate the dispersion degree of the evaluation information under the influence factors and determine its weight. The determination of weight information makes the risk assessment results more accurate. Finally, the VIKOR method is used to determine the risk level of failure modes, which can assist evaluators in assessing the risk degree of failure modes under various influencing factors.
