Abstract:
This paper presents an inverted-F antenna (IFA), characterized by its high compactness, cost-effectiveness, and suitability for easy integration into printing processes. The passband is 902.97-927.03 MHz with a maximum gain of 1.77 dBi. It is specifically designed for radio frequency identification (RFID) or internet of things (IoT) applications within the 915 MHz industrial scientific medical (ISM) band. Optimized for short circuits and feed lines, it demonstrates favorable impedance matching characteristics (\mathbf{47.3}-\mathbf{j}\mathbf{0.27}\ \mathbf{\Omega}) and can be seamlessly integrated into printed circuit board (PCB) designs with an overall size of \mathbf{12}\times \mathbf{5}\times \mathbf{0.87}(\mathbf{L}\times \mathbf{W}\times \mathbf{H}).
