Abstract:

The influence of automobile electromagnetic radiation on human health has attracted more and more attention. In this paper, a quantitative evaluation model of the impact of electromagnetic radiation from automobiles on human health is established, and a method was proposed to apply different weights to multiple influencing factors based on their degree of influence. It improves the current use of only a single radiation intensity value to evaluate the impact of electromagnetic radiation on human health. Considering many factors, the improved evaluation method is more scientific and comprehensive. The electromagnetic radiation intensity of vehicles, a key influencing factor, has been measured for several vehicles in recent three years. China Automobile Health Index (C-AHI) vehicle electromagnetic radiation test and evaluation procedures also apply different weights to the measuring points corresponding to different organ parts of the human body. And the radiation intensity measurement values were compared with the national standard GB 8702-2014 and the international standard ICNIRP 1998&2010 for electromagnetic environment control limits. The results show that most of the measured results are lower than the limit requirements, but there is still room for improvement. In addition, an electromagnetic biological effect analysis was conducted on the key influencing factor of automotive electromagnetic radiation frequency band. The analysis shows that the electromagnetic biological effect of radiation frequency band is obvious at both ends of low frequency band and high frequency band, and the low frequency band is easy to produce electromagnetic resonance non-thermal effect with the low frequency environment of electromagnetic field, which has long wavelength and strong penetration into the body. If the high frequency radiation dose reaches a certain threshold, it will cause the rise of human temperature and produce electromagnetic radiation thermal effect. It should be ...

1. INTRODUCTION

As the automobile industry develops at a high speed towards low-carbon new energy and intelligent internet connection, the increase of high-voltage and high-current equipment and wireless emission equipment in the car makes the safety of electromagnetic radiation on human health more and more social concern, electromagnetic radiation on human health currently there are positive and negative controversies, in order to safety, it is necessary to minimize electromagnetic radiation. Automotive electromagnetic radiation is mainly generated by vehicle antenna, cable harness, crystal vibration and other electronic and electrical systems. For fuel vehicles, the main emission source is the engine ignition system; for electric vehicles, motorselectronic control systems and DC-DC are the main emitters, and the radiation intensity of each emitter depends on its own radiation size and shielding quality. Automobile electromagnetic radiation will produce electromagnetic biological effect on human body, electromagnetic wave and the interaction of organisms, can be absorbed by the organism [1].
