Abstract:
In modern society, there's an accelerated change in personal preferences among young people, which complicates the process of development of both individual potential and society as a whole. This article draws attention to the need of taking into account the capabilities and abilities of an individual when analyzing his activities. It is noted that the successful implementation of activities depends not only on motivation, but also on compliance with a person's abilities. The authors of the article draw attention to the importance of analyzing the individual's relationship to the world around him through activity, as well as the significance of the result of this activity for a person's self-identification. The article discusses the theory of activity approach, which was developed by Leontyev A.N., Rubinshtein S.L., Vygotsky L.S., Khutorsky A.V. and others. The authors emphasize the importance of this theory for understanding the internal mechanisms of human activity and its connection with the self-awareness of the individual in society. The article analyzes modern research in this area and points out the disadvantages of not taking into account the abilities of an individual when analyzing his activities. Thus, the article offers a new look at the process of carrying out activities through the prism of individual abilities and emphasizes the need to integrate this aspect into modern research in the field of psychology and pedagogics.
