Abstract:

This study aimed to investigate the brain mechanisms underlying visual continuity using a brain-machine interface and the analysis of event-related potentials (ERPs) in response to stimuli with different continuity patterns. We conducted a systematic induction and analysis of EEG waveform data. By recording EEG waveform data, we observed significant activity pattern changes in electrodes located in the posterior brain region when participants were exposed to stimuli with different continuity patterns. Our findings suggest that visual continuity primarily affects electrodes in the posterior brain regions, with notable waveform changes observed in the posterior brain waves. These results provide new insights into how the brain processes visual continuity.
