Abstract:
Blockchain is a rapidly developing technology for resolving issues in the field of security that are managed by the public and private sectors. Large sums of money are transferred through a variety of funding channels in charity programs, and because the process of collecting and distributing funds to the underprivileged is opaque, charities occasionally fail to reach the intended recipient. In this paper, the proposed system is to develop a unified platform that will integrate Charitable Donations, Crowdfunding and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The proposed system integrates blockchain technology into a secure and transparent web platform that will effectively track all charitable donations. The system will prioritize donations based on the needs and impact of charitable organizations programs. An added layer of security is included to protect the identity of supervisors that make use of ring signature mechanisms that enable anonymous transactions. The use of ring signature scheme for unified blockchain platform shows that signature size increases only with number of participants. The results proves the system increase trust, transparency, and accountability in the donation process. The system encourages more contributions towards charitable causes, and help to support positive social and environmental outcomes.
