Abstract:

Data security is the primary concern in the cloud, as various organizations are storing their data in cloud environment. This research work focuses on hybrid encryptions and their implementation and analysis on the cloud, for leveraging superior performance, increased algorithm speed, efficacy assessment, and comparison with existing algorithms. This study proposes a novel hybrid algorithm by combining the symmetric (Twofish) and asymmetric (RSA) cryptographic methods. Theoretically, this research study reveals the enhanced security of the proposed hybrid algorithm (Twofish+RSA). Also, this study compares the hybrid \text{AES} +\text{RSA} approach for developing a balanced and secure solution for enabling data protection in various applications. Meanwhile, the Twofish+RSA hybrid model stands out for its advantages in computation time, ciphertext size, and memory consumption. Proposing a multilevel cryptography-based security solution is prompted by the growing research focus on cloud computing security. Security concerns are prevalent in this technology-driven world, where attackers can easily exploit flaws, particularly in the area of cloud computing.
