Abstract:
In this paper, different conventional topologies have been discussed and compared with the proposed converter namely Superior Boost Quasi Z-source Inverter(SB-qZSI). The steady-state analysis of proposed converter is done. This topology, provides continuous input current, shares common ground, less voltage and current stress with high boost at low duty ratio. Moreover, this proposed topology also compared with the traditional Z-network topologies like EB-qZSI, EBSC-qZSI, UHG-qZSI. To verify with theoretical analysis simulations are performed using MATLAB/Simulink by using simple-boost pulse-width modulation (PWM) technique. This topology configuration aims to overcome limitations by achieving a boost factor approximately equal to 2/\left(2(1-D)^{3}-1\right) where duty ratio is in the limit of 0\lt D\lt 0.206. This topology can get satisfactory gain when compared to traditional configurations.
