Abstract:

Smart Sensor Fusion for reliable self-sustaining Navigation in Challenging Environments is an innovative and dynamic technique for self-sustaining Navigation in tough and dangerous environments. This technique is based totally on the mixing of numerous and reliable sensing technologies, including cameras, laser-based total sensors, inertial measurements, and external navigation sensors, blended with powerful algorithms to offer actual-time Navigation in hard conditions. The accrued multi-modal sensing information is fused with the use of a selection of processes, along with sensor fusion, most probability estimation, or Kalman filtering, to provide robust navigation and localization results.
