Abstract:

This paper presents the design of a electromagnetic exposure cell based on the taper coaxial line using FDTD method, inner and outer conductor is supported by PTFE. Electromagnetic field exposures during 0-3GHz were performed into the electromagnetic exposure cell, the device for cell culture is placed in region between the inner and outer conductor of straight coaxial section. FDTD calculation in the cylindrical coordinate and measurements of S-parameters were carried out. Test results have the agreement with the theoretical analysis, and S11 is less than -10dB during the 0-3GHz frequency range.
