Abstract:

Asynchronous pacemaker is a medical device that generates and delivers electrical pulses to restore the cardiac rhythm. It delivers pulses by using electrodes to maintain the regular and controlled rhythm of the heartbeat. This medical device is required for patients whose electrical activity is feeble and suffering from arrhythmia. The pacemaker consists of three parts: an electrical pulse generator, a battery, and a lead system or electrode. This study aims to propose a systematic and simplified procedure to develop an asynchronous pacemaker circuit. It also includes pacemaker history and product reviews. This study presents the methodology can be use in developing the asynchronous pacemaker. The obtained results showed 91.54 % accuracy with respect to expected energy.
