Abstract:

This article focuses on the design of full-wave bridge rectifiers and the comparative evaluation of two Schottky diodes’ performance (HSMS2850 and SMS7630) for energy harvesting under low-power conditions. It also explores various impedance matching configurations. The system operates at a frequency of 2.45 GHz, commonly used in Wi-Fi applications, and investigates two scenarios: one with an input power of -5dBm and the other at -15dBm. The findings indicate that the highest achieved Power Conversion Efficiency (PCE) is 57% for the -5 dBm scenario and 33% for the -15 dBm scenario, both exhibiting S11 values below -30dB.
