Abstract:

The inductive pulse power supply (IPPS) used for electromagnetic emission device has a large amount of residual electric energy wasted after the projectile is discharged. To address this problem, a residual energy fast recovery circuit is proposed in this paper. The key idea of the new circuit is essentially the cooperation between the ICCOS (Inverse Current Commutation with Semiconductor devices) technology and the high temperature superconducting pulsed power transformer (HTSPPT). The feasibility of the new topology is verified by detailed description of the principle and simulation analysis.
