Abstract:
A wide-bore 3T animal MRI superconducting magnet was successfully fabricated. In this manuscript, the structure of the superconducting magnet and its fabricated process was described in detail, which included insulation treatment, coil winding, and binding treatment. As the magnet completed, the superconducting wire shows good insulation performance with the former and binding belt, The superconducting magnet was magnetized to 3.0014T and the measured peak-to-peak homogeneity was about 217 ppm.
