Abstract:
We demonstrate highly efficient second-harmonic generation in thin-film lithium niobate waveguides. Due to the significantly enhanced modal overlap integral in polarization-reversed double layers, an unprecedentedly high conversion efficiency of up to 9700% W-1cm-2is achieved.
