Abstract:

Ultra-deep mining is an effective way to solve the exhaustion of shallow mineral resources and obtain more available mineral resources. It is an inexorable trend of mining development in China and the world. However, the harsh environment, difficult maintenance and complicated mine tunnel of ultra-deep mine may lead to instability or interruption of power supply, and it is difficult to find out the actual fault location. These will pose a nonnegligible risk to personnel and communication network. In this paper, we first analyze the advantages and disadvantages of representative power supply schemes, and then realize the Distributed Uninterruptible Power Source (DUPS) which based on lithium-ion battery packs and modular design. This DUPS drives the data delivery and the connected detective equipment, thus making environmental information gleaned for run time decisions of ultra-deep mine.
