Abstract:

The integration of pulse shrinking rings and counters in Time to Digital Converters (TDCs) has gained significant attention and interest. This study introduces a high- resolution TDC design that combines a pulse shrinking ring with a Vernier delay line. By leveraging the linearity provided by the pulse shrinking ring and the resolution offered by the Vernier delay line, the proposed design aims to achieve enhanced accuracy in time-to-digital conversion.
