Abstract:
This research investigates the influence of casting parameters on the mechanical properties of high-pressure die-cast aluminum alloy ADC12 products. Initially, the high-pressure die-casting (HPDC) process was simulated using software. Subsequently, the products were cast using the YOTA DC 100V5 machine. The microstructure of the products was examined under an optical microscope, followed by hardness testing using the Rockwell scale. The experimental results indicate that an increase in the first-phase distance leads to a decrease in hardness, while raising the accumulator pressure can enhance the hardness.
