Abstract:

The development of the Internet has promoted the rise of the we-media network. Every network user can make random remarks on the network without a high threshold and without paying a price, which lays the foundation for the generation of network rumors. Once the rumors spread widely in the network, it will have a great impact on the social order, guiding the direction of public opinion and affect public security. The characteristics of blockchain, such as decentralization, openness and transparency, immutable and traceable, playing an important role in dealing with online rumors. According to the characteristics of network rumors and blockchain, this paper proposes a network rumor governance scheme based on blockchain. When network rumors are found, the traceability of the blockchain is used to trace the source of the rumors, determine the rumor publisher, and combine with the reputation system to punish the rumor publisher. If the situation is serious, the punishment will be carried out in the real society. At the same time, the official user in the blockchain will publish hot events in real time on the whole network after the event occurs, and upload pictures, videos, audio and other supporting contents to IPFS if necessary, so that it can be verified, avoiding the generation and spread of rumors and public opinion, and making rumors nowhere to hide.
