I. Introduction
The shell structure is lightweight thin-walled, usually only a few centimeters thick, and most often a reinforced concrete structure. It has a curved, bent, or otherwise modified shape, thanks to which the structure gains rigidity. In principle, it imitates eggshells, rolled or accordion-folded paper. These are always very thin materials, the stiffness of which depends on their shape, and they guarantee maximum strength and durability with minimal mass, [1],–[5].
