Abstract:

This paper proposes a permanent magnet synchronous motor stator winding reconfiguration technology that can replace mechanical transmission. The winding connection can be changed under different operating conditions by rearranging the stator windings and coordinating with the switching topology composed of changeover switches. Thereby changing the output characteristics of the motor. Reducing the current required for output torque and the back EMF caused by high speed can effectively broaden the motor’s speed range. At the same time, considering that the transient process of winding reconfiguration will experience uneven phenomena such as current spikes and torque mutations, a transitional winding state is designed to limit the impact and shorten the time-consuming winding reconfiguration. Finally, its feasibility and effectiveness are verified by simulation.
