Abstract:
This paper mainly studies the model of electrolytic aluminum load and analyzes the regulation characteristics of the electrolytic aluminum load. Firstly, the electrical characteristics of the electrolysis cell, on-load tap-changer (OLTC) transformer, rectifier transformer and saturation reactor are analyzed, and the model of the electrolytic aluminum load system is established. Then, the control characteristics of the electrolytic aluminum load are studied, and a coordinated constant current control strategy of OLTC and saturation reactor is proposed, and the regulation capability of the electrolytic aluminum load is analyzed. Finally, a case of an electrolytic aluminum load is used to verify the proposed method. The results show that the method proposed in this paper can effectively improve the steady-state characteristics and regulation ability of the electrolytic aluminum load.
