Abstract:

The scenic and credible capacity of new energy ultra-high voltage direct current transmission system (UHVDC) transmission base in desert areas can provide support for the planning and construction of large-scale new energy UHVDC transmission base. For this scenario, a new trusted capacity evaluation method combining Equivalent Firm Capacity (EFC) and Equivalent load-carrying Capability (ELCC) is proposed, which considers the load is not fixed and the power generation side is not fixed. Firstly, the mathematical models of wind power, photovoltaic, thermal power and UHVDC transmission were established, and then the trusted capacity of wind power was calculated by Monte Carlo simulation. Finally, the trusted capacity of wind power under different access modes was solved by simulation examples, and the influence of different proportions of wind power installed capacity on the trusted capacity was analyzed.
