Abstract:
The material allocation model and algorithm for the assembly line of an automobile assembly workshop are a key aspect of the manufacturing process. The model and algorithm aim to ensure that all materials required for the production process are available at the correct time, quantity, and location. The material allocation model includes analyzing the production process to determine the optimal flow rate of materials. This analysis considers factors such as productivity, inventory levels, and lead times. Then, the algorithm uses this information to create a material delivery schedule to ensure that every workstation on the assembly line has access to all necessary materials at any time. This method has many benefits. Firstly, it reduces waste by ensuring that materials are delivered only when needed. Secondly, it improves efficiency by reducing downtime caused by material shortages or delays. Finally, it strengthens quality control by ensuring that each workstation can obtain high-quality materials throughout the entire production process. In summary, the material allocation model and algorithm of the assembly line in the automotive assembly workshop are important components of modern manufacturing processes. By optimizing material flow and delivery schedule, manufacturers can improve efficiency, reduce waste and improve product quality. This article takes the material distribution of the assembly line in the real automobile assembly workshop as the background, establishes a mathematical model based on different task requirements and available trailer quantities, flexibly provides delivery plans, and focuses on the trailer contract system to generate two types of material distribution plans based on demand information.
