Abstract:
This paper describes an innovative OLTC switching technology that provides an intrinsically safe solution with no additional losses for smart distribution transformers. It also describes a new set of microservices developed to enhance LV grid real time operation of the smart distribution transformer. The new switching technology, up to 36kV, has been tested in both internal and external labs.
